Kinsight (formerly Simon Fraser Society) is a CARF-accredited, not-for-profit serving the Tri-Cities region and New Westminster. Since 1954, they have supported children, youth, adults, and seniors with developmental delays or disabilities, working alongside families to build inclusive, welcoming communities.

Kinsight’s vision is a world where everyone is welcome, belongs, and is included everywhere. Their mission is to promote meaningful relationships and fulfilling lives by empowering people with developmental disabilities and their families through support, skill-building, and community engagement.
Core Services
Children, Youth & Families
- Infant Development: Home-based, play-focused visits supporting child growth and parenting strategies.
- Supported Child Development: Inclusion support in childcare, preschools, and youth home settings.
- Key Worker Services: Individual and group support for children/youth with complex neurobehavioral needs (e.g., FASD).
- Therapy Access Coordination: Links families to physical, occupational, and speech therapy services through partnerships.
Adults & Their Families
- Employment Services: Job coaching, workplace accommodations, and support for meaningful employment.

Serving over 2,000 individuals and families yearly, Kinsight operates across New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra. Administrative, employment, and housing programs cover the broader Lower Mainland.
Governance and Accreditation
Kinsight is governed by a volunteer board and managed by an executive team. They have been CARF-accredited for excellence and continuous improvement, strengthening quality standards in developmental supports.
