DJNO supports disabled people to thrive by building collective power, skills, and community-based systems of accountability.

  4. Cross-movement Organizing – Building solidarity across struggles.
  5. Recognizing Wholeness – Every person holds worth and history.
  6. Sustainability – Pacing ourselves for long-term justice.
  7. Cross-disability Solidarity – Valuing all bodyminds in community.
  8. Interdependence – Meeting needs without institutional control.
  9. Collective Access – Flexible, creative access for all.
  10. Collective Liberation – No one left behind.

Structure

  • Board of Directors: 10 elected members guiding strategy and relationships.
  • Youth Advisory Council: 8 disabled youth shaping DJNO’s direction.
  • General Membership: Open to the public, with annual reporting and evolving participation structures.
